Welcome to Branches
Branches is a fully planned, elementary curriculum created to support and simplify your homeschool journey.
- A year of ready-to-go lessons—no more guesswork or last-minute prep.
- A curriculum that’s as easy to follow as it is to teach— no more wondering if you’re doing enough each day.
- A program that’s clear and cohesive—no more hopping between disconnected resources.
It’s a roadmap for your days and a rhythm that flows with your family. Branches takes the overwhelm out of homeschooling so you can focus on what matters most: learning together.

What is Branches?
Branches is a 32-week, 8-unit elementary curriculum built around the discovery subjects—social studies, science, language arts, fine arts, and more.
Children dive into thoughtfully crafted, knowledge-rich themes—brought to life with hands-on activities, intentional book pairings, rich conversations, and connected lessons. It’s flexible yet structured. Purposeful, but never rigid.
Branches is designed to build lasting knowledge, deepen critical thinking, and support families learning together.

How It’s Different
Unlike traditional homeschool curricula, Branches explores elementary electives from a wider angle without teaching concepts in a vacuum. Instead of single-subject learning in isolation, Branches purposefully weaves multiple domains under overarching unit themes. The curriculum emphasizes the power of crossing subject lines to build knowledge with immersive learning in context. Subjects taught in tandem invite deeper learning than those taught in isolation.
The units in Branches were specifically chosen for their rich vocabulary, ability to translate across domains, and depth of topic. Each of the 8 units is a one-month deep-dive of fully planned lessons that cross diverse subjects and concepts. Within each unit’s theme, you’ll explore science, language arts, social studies, fine arts, literature, and more.
An Immersive Learning Experience
Each unit bridges into poetry, fine arts, language arts, sensory exploration, dramatic play, and STEM. Subjects are explored from all angles, with every elementary age and ability level in mind, immersing children through hands-on experiments, interconnected content, and engaging supplemental materials.
When learning domains overlap, kids see the bigger picture. Science isn’t just in experiments—it’s in poetry, art, and the language we use to describe the world. A science-loving child gets new paths to explore. A less science-focused child finds their way in through stories, music, and hands-on fun.
Branches is rooted in connection. Each unit weaves together multiple subjects, making learning feel immersive and alive. From books and music to shared activities, everything works together to spark discovery.

Fully Planned, Ready to Go
All of the prep, planning, research, and brainstorming for 8 knowledge-rich, interactive unit studies is waiting for you. No more trying to lay out a schedule. No more struggling to map out lessons. No more piecing things together.
It’s all been done for you.

Every week is thoughtfully curated.

1 Program. 8 Units. All Ages.
Each of the eight units in Branches covers a compelling, high-interest theme designed to spark curiosity, cross subject boundaries, and support families with multi-age learners. The program is not leveled and designed to work beautifully for K-5 learners. The units each include four weeks of learning, divided into subtopics for deeper focus and exploration.
Branches employs a unique design of foundational knowledge, interconnected subject areas, and hands-on, discovery-based learning. The units in Branches were specifically chosen for their rich vocabulary, ability to translate across domains, and depth of topic.
A unit may appear from the name as inherently tilted to one subject area, but each one is masterfully designed to cross domains within the topic. Every unit, whether rooted in science, social studies, or literature, bridges into poetry, fine arts, language arts, sensory exploration, gross motor play, dramatic play, and STEM.
There is no predetermined sequence for the order of units. Choose the order that works best for your family, time of year, and season of learning. Within the unit, the sub-topics are placed in a specific order that needs to be maintained for the proper development of knowledge and skills within the unit.
An Overview of Branches
Branches consists of 8 units, spanning 32 weeks of knowledge-building learning in context.
The 8 units in Branches each span for 4 weeks. A homeschool day with the Branches curriculum includes a learning conversation, a suggested read aloud, a language arts activity aligned to the theme, and a hands-on activity to explore, experiment, and connect learning to real life.
These are not traditional lessons or complicated activities.
You’ll also find weekly overviews and daily lesson plans in this 500+ page program. These are lessons written and lightly scripted to help you find confidence and success at teaching.
There’s structure: Each day follows a predictable pattern.

How Multi-Age Learning Works
Branches doesn’t separate kids by grade level or rush through topics. It’s intentionally designed to work for families with one elementary learner or many, offering leveled options when needed and embracing open-ended questions that welcome multiple perspectives.
Ask a question like, “Why don’t ocean animals sink?” and a six-year-old and ten-year-old might give completely different answers—both of which are beautifully valid and rich with thought. That’s the magic of Branches. It leaves space for all.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
A day with Branches feels full but not overwhelming. In this electives-based program, you’ll talk, read, explore, and create. Most families spend 45-60 minutes a day on Branches lessons, not including any extra reading or offshoots your kids want to take.
The 4-day week leaves room for appointments, co-ops, field trips, or simply taking it slow. Branches is guided, pre-planned, and lightly scripted—but it’s flexible to meet and fit your family’s needs.

Branches is Evergreen and Secular
Branches isn’t tied to a calendar, religion, or hemisphere. It’s completely secular and designed to be used anytime—fall, winter, spring, or somewhere in between. You can start whenever you’re ready and go at your own pace.
If you take a break, the program will be waiting for you right where you left off.

Not Just for Homeschooling
You don’t have to be a full-time homeschooler to use Branches. This program was carefully designed and written to include all schooling models.
Families can use it over the summer, during breaks, or as enrichment alongside traditional schooling. Whether your kids are homeschooled, hybrid-schooled, or traditionally educated, Branches fits beautifully into your routine.
A Doable, Flexible Program
Branches was created by a former classroom teacher and a homeschooling parent who understand the balance families are trying to strike: real learning, real connection, and real life. You won’t need to prep for hours, scour the internet for ideas, or wonder if you’re “doing it right.”
All the planning is done for you. You just show up, ready to explore—and Branches will do the rest.

A Homeschooling Program that Fits Your Family
Branches gives you a clear path forward—without the stress, pressure, or guesswork.
It’s everything you need to teach your whole family. No more piecing together scattered resources, second-guessing your plans, or wondering if you’re doing enough.
Branches offers structure without rigidity, flexibility without overwhelm, and guidance without pressure.
It’s built for real families, real days, and real learning—complete with hands-on experiences, rich conversations, and meaningful moments that actually stick.
Because homeschool should feel good.
And with Branches, it can.
